Team Signal FAQ: scope, availability and waitlist

Team Signal is in development. Today, you can join the waitlist to hear about access. Here is what we are preparing, who it is intended for, and what that next step involves.

What is Team Signal?

Team Signal is a Mimas Labs product being developed to help people understand and develop the human side of business: how individuals work, how they relate to one another, and how teams respond to business demands.

Its two intended service areas are Investor Team Diligence and Business Team Development. They address different questions and serve different purposes.

What is Investor Team Diligence intended to address?

The people behind a potential investment. It is being developed for investors who want to understand founders individually and as a team: their working tendencies, relationships, strengths, and responses to pressure.

The intended approach distinguishes strengths, concerns supported by the available evidence, and what remains unknown. Conclusions must stay within the evidence and the agreed scope. Missing information is not evidence of low risk.

It does not replace product, market or financial diligence, predict a company’s success, or make the investment decision. That decision remains with people.

How is Business Team Development different?

Its purpose is development within a business: helping people work through difficulties, build on their strengths, and work better together. Intended areas include communication, expectations, working relationships, and responses to pressure, both individually and collectively.

It is being developed for companies and teams, including business and People leaders supporting that work. A development program has a different purpose from an assessment for a potential investment; participation in one does not mean agreeing to the other.

Can I use either service now?

Team Signal is in pre-release. We are collecting expressions of interest through the waitlist; this is not an announcement of general availability.

There is no confirmed access date on this page. We will explain the actual scope, availability and participation arrangements before anyone takes part in or purchases a service.

Does joining the waitlist start an assessment?

No. It records your interest. It does not create a product account, start an assessment, enrol your team, or make a purchase. It does not guarantee early access or a place in a pilot.

Any later assessment, development program or research participation would involve a separate explanation and agreement. You do not need to send private team assessments, health information or colleagues’ personal details to join the waitlist.

What role does AI play?

We are developing AI-supported workflows to help gather and organise work-relevant information for human review. This describes the intended approach, not a claim that every feature is released or that the method is scientifically validated.

Team Signal is not intended to diagnose people, detect lies, infer emotions or personality from faces or voices, or make automated investment or employment decisions. Evidence, interpretation and uncertainty need to remain distinguishable.

Who provides professional input?

Mimas Labs is building the product. Product-building experience and expertise in professional assessment or team development are different responsibilities.

We will identify specific professional contributors and arrangements when they are confirmed, including each person’s actual role and the scope of their contribution. A founder title or a product description is not evidence of specialist review.

What am I signing up to receive?

The current form asks your permission for Mimas Labs to email you about Team Signal early access, including a few questions about your needs. It records the language you select. You can read the permission wording and privacy information before submitting.

This is an expression of interest, not a promise of access. It does not sign you up for every Mimas Labs product or a separate educational newsletter. To withdraw your interest, you can contact hello@mimaslabs.com.
